The problem
Each branch planned its own vans, so two vans often drove to the same street from different branches. Care-home deliveries had a hard 10 am deadline that was missed about once a week.
What changed
All three branches now feed one plan. Kerbel lets any van serve any branch’s drops and keeps the care-home windows first.
Planning time fell from 55 minutes to 4, and the fleet drives 27% fewer miles.
Care homes need medication before the 10 o'clock round. We now hit that window every day, and I plan all three branches from one screen.
